About Rosie and Faris

Faris & Rosie Yakob are the co-founders of Genius Steals, a strategy and innovation consultancy built on the belief that ideas are new combinations. They work with brands, agencies, and startups across the world to ignite innovation from within — helping organizations unlock commercial creativity and connect with culture in ways that actually move the business.

They write regularly for industry publications, judge awards on stages from Cannes to Clio, and speak at events across the globe. Their newsletter, Strands of Genius, was named one of the "7 Essential Reads for Creative Individuals."

Faris is the author of Paid Attention and previously held senior roles including Chief Innovation Officer of an advertising holding company and Chief Digital Officer at McCann Erickson NYC. Rosie previously led social and emerging media strategy at Saatchi & Saatchi and 360i, and began her career developing brand partnerships with Jay-Z and Steve Stoute.

Together, they've worked in and from more than 50 countries, which is either a business strategy or a very elaborate excuse to keep traveling.
